OBJECTIVES OF THE COURSE:

• To train interested individuals to acquire the attitudes, skills, insights and techniques necessary to carry out the following:
  1. To understand the growth patterns, behaviour, care and management of children between 0-8 years.
  2. To organize, plan and execute developmentally appropriate early childhood education programs
  3. To work effectively with parents and the community
• To provide theoretical knowledge and understanding of the importance of early childhood years
• To train individuals to effectively teach young children within the framework of Indian conditions.
