Why a course on NLP for Educators? Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) explores the connections between neurological
processes, language, and behaviour patterns learned through experience. It focuses on how
these elements influence thoughts, behaviour, and communication, and offers techniques for
personal development and effective communication. For educators, NLP can enhance
communication skills, improve classroom interactions, and support student development. By
using NLP strategies, educators can create a positive learning environment, address student
challenges effectively, and model successful behaviours, leading to better student engagement,
classroom management, and educational outcomes.
Eligibility: Educators having completed/ in the process of completing any of the following educational
qualifications - B.Ed/ ECCEd/ Diploma in education, counselling, school/educational
psychology, human development or any other related educational courses/ work experience in
the field of education are eligible for this course. No minimum work experience requirements.
Note: In case of any exception an entrance test can be taken to test the competencies.
Course Objectives: • Understand the foundational principles of NLP and its applications in education
• Build rapport and effective communication with students and colleagues
• Apply NLP techniques for engaging lesson planning and delivery
• Provide constructive feedback and utilise NLP for effective assessment
• Identify and address limiting beliefs, fostering a growth mindset in students
• Manage student behaviour and create a positive learning environment.
Course Duration:30 hours (3 months)

- Fundamentals of NLP
- Building Rapport
- NLP Practices for Effective Classroom Instructions
- Effective Communication & conflict resolution
- Applications of NLP in the entire teaching learning
process (planning to assessments)
