The college building comprises of five floors and a basement. One cannot miss the plant and herb garden as you enter our college. The college has a vermiculture pit at the back. The college has a number of plants and trees in its premises and had won the award for Best Green College in the past.
SIES Nerul Institute of Comprehensive Education (NICE) is located in the sprawling Nerul campus of SIES. Amidst the greenery, temple complex, an array of educational institutions comprising of Management College, Engineering College, Degree College and niche institutes like Indian Institute of Environmental Management and School of Packaging, our NICE institute is located. The support facilities for the students at Nerul campus is similar to that of Sion complex which are as follows:
A modern well-equipped library is situated on the second floor of the college. The library caters to a clientele of students, faculty and visiting faculty. It has an impressive collection of books, encyclopedias, journals, magazines, and other resources. A variety of daily newspapers in various languages are available. The library provides an ideal environment to work. Students can access E-Resources from the digital section. Photocopying services are also available.
A gymnasium is located on the ground floor of the college building. The gym caters to both students and staff of the college. It is equipped with latest equipment and well-trained staff. Private instructors are also available. One can become a member by paying a nominal sum.
A spacious gymkhana has been made especially, to encourage playing of indoor games for students and staff. Students can play games such as chess, carrom etc. in the gymkhana.
The Mini Auditorium is on the ground floor of the college. The modern and well-equipped auditorium is furnished with the latest technical features. It is the perfect place to hold seminars, conferences, training programs, meetings, and other activities.
The college has classrooms of various sizes ranging from classrooms for 20 students up to 120 students. All classrooms are well lighted and have good ventilation. There is provision for ICT implementation in all classrooms. Air conditioning facility is available in few classrooms.
The College Canteen is situated in the minus one level of the college. The spacious canteen is a favorite hang-out spot for the students. A variety of cuisines including South Indian, North Indian, Chinese and Fast foods are available at reasonable prices. Canteen facilities are also used for partaking refreshments of small gatherings.
Railway concession is given to students who are less than 25 years and pursuing university affiliated programs to travel in local trains.
A college is part of a large educational system which has multiple sub-systems within its framework. Students from all strata come together to follow their educational goals. Many a times they require guidance and help to handle various issues. A college counsellor helps students maneuver academic expectations, offer vocational guidance and counselling, handle issues with peers, deal with psycho-social problems, collaborate with parents and teachers. In this context, we have a college counsellor who helps the students steer through their academic and personal problems.
